“You never know how long you have on this earth! Make your dreams come true. For me, I love to travel and I made this happen with careful thought and thorough planning. Anything is possible if you focus on what you want to accomplish!”
Brett Duncan is from the small town of Aquadeo, Saskatchewan, Canada and lived in Saskatchewan her entire life. That was until she met a foreign exchange student from the Czech Republic in 2009 and began traveling to Europe every year to visit his family. It was only natural to stop in to visit Austria, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Scotland and Norway as they made their way back and forth. They eventually married in the summer of 2017.
Brett was diagnosed with celiac disease in 2015 but was determined not to let that affect her wanderlust. In fact, she and her husband saved up, down-sized their possessions and quit their jobs so that they could spend an entire year on the road, around the world.
Brett is dedicated to creating awareness about the disease with the people she meets and sharing her travel experiences with us. We get to sit back and relax as she tours, enjoys new cultures and cuisines and how she manages her diet as the “ultimate gluten-free traveler!” Learn more about Brett here.
