A quick phone call to owner Ricardo Rojas confirmed that La Tortilla’s dedication to healthy eating prompts them to use vegetable oils instead of lard and no gluten on the premises, except for the mole – which by the way gets rave review from gluten eaters.
La Tortilla serves authentically Mexican cuisine from the Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo and Guerrero regions and features empanadas, enchiladas and huaraches. No burritos or chimichangas to be found – or to wreak havoc with our gluten-free sensibilities!
