Thank you to Celiac Scene contributor, Alana, for this heartfelt endorsement of Bisque Restaurant in Courtenay in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, British Columbia!
“I wanted to let you know that my family had a wonderful meal last Friday night at Bisque restaurant in Courtenay for my parents’ 50th anniversary. My family has so many food allergies: peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, shrimp, clams, kiwi and chickpeas that eating out is a huge challenge. The owner, Maralee was wonderful and said she’s happy to help those of us who need special attention, just to let her know ahead of time so she’s prepared. Bisque did an amazing job for our family!”
Established in 2007, Bisque is a small boutique chef-owned restaurant. “Our philosophy is simple. It’s all about the food. Quality is our priority.” Tuesday – Saturday 11-2. Dinner by reservation. 250-334.8564. At 14th and Cliffe. Visit Courtenay Map here.
