Join the online community dedicated to caring and sharing support for celiac and gluten-free children – and their families. Open to anyone seeking or wishing to provide information on behalf of kids and/or care givers with gluten sensitivities. Celiac Parents is a ‘closed,’ invitation-only facebook community that offers solace and encouragement to those making their way. Moderated Ellen Bayens of The Celiac Scene in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, information can be local or global. GLUTEN FREE LIVING CLASSES in VICTORIA, BC
No diagnosis required. A crash course about transitioning to a gluten-free diet is provided at no cost to Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) members, their family members or friends. Join the CCA at the class or at info@celiac.ca for $65. Led by knowledgeable celiac volunteers, this intense two hour session covers what to eat and what not to, where to shop, where to dine and generally how to live gluten-free in Victoria, Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. The class will orient and assure that one is not alone in making this huge lifestyle adjustment.
